Two Point Taco Soup

Ingredients:

**Do not drain the vegetables**

Directions:
In a large pot, mix all ingredients but the last two together. Simmer on medium heat.

In the meantime, brown the hamburger until done, drain that, then add the chopped onion. Simmer for about 10 minutes and add to the soup mixture.

Cook for about an hour.

Servings: 10

I dislike canned beans, so I use about a cup each of black beans and pinto beans - then cook them in boiling water for about 20 minutes. Then, drain and replenish the water. Then, I add all the other ingredients. I have been known to leave out the chiles and the Ranch packet when I don't have it on hand. I play around with it, and I'm sure that causes it not to be a 2 point soup any more! This thickens as it cooks, so if you cook it longer, it's more of a Taco Chili, but it's very tasty.
