Muddy Buddies
Ingredients:
- 9 cups Chex cereal (Corn, Rice or Wheat or a mixture)
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 margarine
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Directions:
Combine chocolate chips, peanut butter and margarine in microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 1 minute. Stir. Microwave for 30 seconds. While the chocolate is cooking, measure out the chex cereal into a large bowl. Add vanilla to melted chocolate and stir. Pour chocolate mixture over Chex and toss until coated. Put Chex into gallon ziplock bag. Put powdered sugar in bag with Chex. Close the bag and shake until the Chex are well coated with powdered sugar. Pour Chex onto wax paper and spread out to let the chocolate harden. Sometimes I add Reese's Pieces or M & M's.
Servings: Not sure...a lot!

Just made this with Tessa and it was very fun for her. Definitely a good one to do with the kiddo's, if they are old enough. Tasty too...the whole fam loves it.

Dee - A friend of mine said she puts miniature marshmellows in hers also. I have not tried it yet tho.
