Granola

Ingredients:

Directions:
Mix the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Melt the butter and honey together until well blended. Pour into bowl on top of dry ingredients and stir, stir, stir! Spread evenly onto a jelly roll pan and bake for one hour at 250*. When the timer goes off, turn off the oven, but leave the granola in for another 1/2 hour at least. Inside the oven, it will remain soft, so tasting it is misleading. I judge it by color. When it looks nice and toasty, I take it out and immediately put it into an airtight container. If left on the pan, it will harden and adhere for life! Also, don't overcrowd your container. The granola will all clump together and form one big hard lump. I usually use two containers or an extra large ziplock bag. Enjoy!

Servings: This lasts our family of 5 granola eaters about 1 week

It's to die for! Trust me!

Dellaina - She's right! It's truly to die for. I always add a cup of golden raisins and a cup of dried cran-cherries. Besides mixing it with yogurt, I've added milk and microwaved it. Makes a fab hot cereal!
