Cinnamon Ornaments

Ingredients:

Directions:
Mix ingredients in bowl; turn out onto parchment and knead until firm and clay-like. If too sticky to work with, refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Roll dough out to about 1/4-inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters. Cut holes for string or ribbon with drinking straw at tops of ornaments.

Allow cut-outs to dry on drying rack until completely dry.

Use string, yarn, ribbon, whatever you want to tie your ornaments and hang them on your tree.

Discard at end of season, and do not eat!!!!!

Comments:
I'd hang these closer to the tops of the tree so babies can't get them. They smell wonderful but aren't edible - babies don't know that, though. They're great as gift tags (use alphabet cut-outs) or car air fresheners for a month or so. Oh, and cinnamon is DIRT cheap in the bulk foods section.
