Scotcheroos

Ingredients:

Topping: Directions:
Prep a 9X13 pan by smearing butter on the bottom and sides. Just a very thin coat to prevent sticking.

In a heavy pot combine the sugar and karo and heat until small bubbles form around the edge. Stir constantly to avoid scortching.

Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter. Stir until evenly blended.

Add your rice krispies and stir until coated. (Great workout for your arm here!)

Pour into pan and press in evenly. I wet my fingers slightly to avoid sticking.

Topping:
Melt the 2 types of chips in the microwave. Stir until smooth. (The time this takes will depend on your microwave. Put in for small time periods and stir in between to avoid disaster!)

Pour over the pan of krispies and let set. Cut into small squares to serve.

Can be stored tightly covered for a few days.

Time to Prepare: About 20 min. to prepare and an hour or 2 to set.
