- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Cup light corn syrup
- 1 1/2 Cups dry roasted peanuts
- 1 Tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
Microwave sugar and corn syrup in a large bowl on High 5 minutes, stirring after 3 minutes. Stir in peanuts. Microwave for 3 to 5 minutes, or until golden brown. Add butter and vanilla; stir until butter melts completely. Microwave 1 minute. Stir in baking soda (mixture will foam).
Spread mixture on a baking sheet covered with a sheet of aluminum foil greased with butter. Cool completely; break into pieces.
