Peanut Butter Bon-Bons


Combine powdered suar and cracker crumbs. Melt butter over low heat and stir into cracker/sugar mixture. Shape into 1 inch balls and set aside. Melt chocolate chips with shortening and dip balls into chocolate with tongs, until coated. Place on wax paper and chill until firm. Makes around 3 dozen candies.

Sometimes I use blocks of milk chocolate or almond bark instead of the chocolate chips/shortening and these turn out great too!
