Pour into a greased 13x9 pan and sprinkle as many chocolate chips as you need to all over the top. Bake in a preheated oven of 350 degrees for about 20-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Decent people let it cool for at least 5 minutes before burying their faces in it. At least attempt the cool down period.
Servings: serving size 1 (ah, I'm sort of kidding about the serving size!)

This cake is fantastic! Great birthday cupcakes, not too "junky" and the wee bit of chocolate chips on top fool the kids into thinking it's super super rich. It's worth it to buy the cookbook (healthy foods) just to read the commentary on this cake, what a hoot!
Casey - Wow this is yummy! I just made it into cupcakes for a friends birthday! I did not have buttermilk so I used 1 1/4 cups of nonfat plain yogurt instead. It is really moist and fluffy! Topped it with cream cheese frosting.
