Cream Cheese Frosting II
- 2 3 oz pkgs cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c butter, softened
- 2 t vanilla extract
- 1/4 t salt
- 5-6 c confectioners' sugar
In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter, vanilla and salt until smooth. Gradually beat in the confectioners' sugar. Store frosting in the refrigerator.

This frosting is firmer than the other cream cheese frosting recipe that I submitted and can be used in a layer cake. The other frosting has a better flavor, but it's softer and tends to ooze out of a layer cake.
