Heat oil in medium nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook, stirring, until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir together onion and all remaining ingredients in large bowl until well blended but not overmixed. Press turkey mixture into prepared loaf pan. Bake until browned and cooked through, about 1 hour or until instant-read thermometer inserted into center of loaf registers 160 degrees. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
