Sausage Breakfast Casserole
Ingredients:
- 6 slices of bread
- Butter or margarine
- 1 lb sausage
- 1 1/2 cup shredded longhorn cheese
- 6 beaten eggs
- 2 cups half-and-half OR 1 container of plain yogurt
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions:
Remove crusts from bread. Spread bread with butter. Place in a greased 13x9in baking dish and set aside. Brown crumbled sausage. Drain well. Sprinkle sausage, then shredded cheese over bread. Combine remaining ingredients. Beat well. Pour over sausage. Bake at 375 for 25 minutes, or until set.
Servings: 8-10
