Beer Bread

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Butter a loaf pan and set aside. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and beer and mix well. The mixture should be sticky. Pour into the loaf pan and bake for 55 minutes. At the last 3 minutes of baking, remove from oven, brush the top of the loaf with butter and return to oven.

I'd recommend using a light ale; the darker brews give the bread a little too much of a beer taste. The final result will be somewhere between biscuits and a quick bread. Oh, and don't take a drink of the beer before you pour it in your bowl. It does change the end result. heeeee.
