- 1 lb Ground Beef (I use ground turkey or chicken)
- 32 oz jar spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup Cottage Cheese (I use Ricotta cheese,15oz container)
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 8 slices Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- Lasagna Noodles
Brown ground beef, drain. Add spaghetti sauce and water to ground beef. (I pour the 1/2 cup water into the jar to rinse out the sauce) In a separate bowl, mix cottage cheese, egg and pepper. In a 9x13 dish, put a cup of sauce mixture, spread along bottom of dish. Place noodles on top of sauce, cheese mixture on top of noodles & four mozzarella slices on top of cheese mixture; repeat beginning with sauce until you end with sauce.
Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave on HIGH for 8 minutes; continue on MED-LOW for 30-32 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes.
Before serving, top with Parmesan cheese.
