Hamburger Stroganoff


Brown meat, onion and garlic in large skillet; drain off fat. Stir in broth, mushrooms, salt and pepper. Cook over medium-low heat until mushrooms are tender.

Combine sour cream and flour; whisk into skillet and heat until sauce is thickened, about 5 minutes. Do not boil. Serve over egg noodles.

Servings: 4-6, depending on amount of noodles

This was a surprisingly HUGE hit in our house. Next time, I think I'd add a little more seasoning, though, as we like a little more kick in our food. This was requested to please have again! That rarely happens around here!

Ashlee - Wanted to add this to pinterest because it was a big hit at my house but I couldn't find it on the website. My kids loved it and since many in my house are not big "cream of ..." fans it was a big hit! (Many easy stroganoff recipes require the cream of stuff) I definitely added more garlic, salt, and pepper and used onion powder instead of actual onion.
